Amir
- Mirage IIIRS
To be published in March 2004, this two set hardback
work totaling approx. 210 pages of quality print will
cover the full spectrum of this prestigious French
delta winged jet from its delivery in Switzerland
in 1965 right up until the last flight in December
2003. Amir has been compiled by authors Reto Seipel
and Peter Lewis, names familiar to those associated
with previous publications on the Swiss Hunter. Amir
has been supported and created by Squadron 10 - the
sole Mirage IIIRS operational squadron and both pilots
and ground crew alike have contributed their stories
and know-how in the making of this work. |

|
Amir
will only be available as a German text title, but
that will take nothing away from the fabulous color
and black and white photographs printed on quality
artwork paper. Two editions bound in a decorative
sleeve will celebrate the operational history and
also feature actual reconnaissance photographic coverage
provided by the Mirage IIIRS for the Swiss Air Force.
